Lan and her incredible team, including the talented Bridal Makeup by Kat, did an amazing job for our wedding! With two brides, ten bridesmaids, plus hair and makeup for mom and grandma, they handled everything flawlessly. They arrived at 7 AM and set up in our adjacent get-ready hotel suites, finishing everyone promptly by 1 PM. Throughout the day, they were kind, professional, and made sure we were all happy by providing touch-ups as needed. We initially booked them because we wanted somebody who was skilled with applying makeup on Asian features but turns out they can execute beautifully on ALL skin tones as all of our bridesmaids were thrilled with their makeup. And for those who want glam/Hollywood waves, we highly recommend Lan! For us as the two brides, even though our final looks ended up being slightly different from our trial runs, we still loved our stunning results—our hair and makeup photographed beautifully and lasted all day.

Lan and her team are amazing! I got married on a 90+ degree summer day and my (and my bridesmaids) hair and makeup held up extremely well. Each girl's foundation base was also a perfect match! Lan really listens to what you’re looking for and is able to make your inspo pics a reality - working with your facial features to deliver a look that works best for you. She was easy to communicate with, timely, and truly skillful in her craft. She was also very accommodating with last minute additions. If I could give Lan more than 5 stars, I would. She is the BEST. She's always going above and beyond, even before the wedding day. My wedding was on October 14, 2023.

While getting my trial done, my photographer bailed on me for our engagement photoshoot. Without hesitation, Lan referred me to her friend, who ended up squeezing me in for an engagement shoot and being my photographer at the wedding. She even referred me to a videographer that was in my budget.

Leading up to the wedding, I was beyond stressed about the logistics for my wedding, and texted Lan. Again, without hesitation, Lan came up with solutions, advised me on how to handle the situation, and reminded me to self-care. On the wedding day, Lan and her team came in early and made sure me and my girls' hair and makeup were done beautifully and on time. My girls were so beautiful (more than they already were), and it lasted all day. When I changed into a reception dress and Lan immediately changed my hair to match my outfit.

I am definitely calling Lan again for any hair and makeup needs. Next stop, maternity shoot! I already know Lan will make me feel the most beautiful.

10/10! My wedding took place last month, May 19th, 2024. I booked her wayyy early, back in 2022, since I confidently knew that I will be using her and no one else. I was recommended by a good friend to choose Lan. I’m satisfied!

Lan was pleasant and it was very easy to book for her services. I had my makeup and hair trial last year in September 2023, the same day as my engagement photoshoot. I showed her what I wanted to get done and she did her best to replicate it, and it came out really nice! It lasted all night for me during my engagement shoot and dinner. I felt like a new person and didn’t want to take it off!

Lan and I communicated via text message to make sure everything was in place and that she had all the details. I had confirmed after my trial that I will be having a total of 7 people getting services done, including myself! I wanted to make sure that she and her team are prepared in the best way possible.

A few days beforehand leading up to the wedding day, Lan sent me a copy of the day-of-schedule and said she is flexible in the order of who goes when, as long as I go in the middle. She also sent me a copy of the invoice so I am prepared and no surprises in payment. Lan was very clear of her expectations and had nothing to hide. She is very open to ideas and changes as well, so do not hesitate to ask her for anything.

On the day of the wedding, Lan and her team showed up early and on time at my hotel. They brought everything they needed and were professional throughout the day. We finished on time according to the schedule as well, which works out! There was no sense of rushing or urgency noted, which I am pleased.

We all looked fabulous and great throughout the day and night! I wish I can relive the day but of course, it’s not possible. Thank you Lan and the team!

*BEWARE: I truly debated whether I should leave an honest review and I decided to because I don't want this to happen to other brides. I booked and placed a deposit with Lan 10 months prior to my wedding. I overlooked many red flags. I was warned since I did not receive a formal contract. I submitted a google form (basic questionnaire) and do not receive a copy. I venmo'ed my deposit and confirmed with Lan via phone that the deposit was received. I explained that I can meet the minimum of 4 services and will likely have more (8 bridesmaids) because at that time, I haven't formally asked my bridal party. She advised to let her know when I am made aware as she may need to book another artist. I proactively followed up with her to provide counts of services. Ultimately I provided total services almost 4 months before the wedding. At this time, she asked me to submit a new google form with increased fees and informed me, I would have to pay the new/increased fees despite booking and providing a deposit in Oct 2023. When I respectfully inquired on whether the previous price we agreed on can be honored, she immediately informed me that we are not a fit and canceled my wedding. Then she followed up saying she did not cancel because I provided a "blank contract" for which reason I cannot understand. I provided my information and informed her that I can meet the minimum services, likely more. If I provided a "blank contract", why did she not mention this problem the many encounters/communications we've had. She likely double booked my wedding and tried to charge higher prices. This is extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

2) At my trial, she asked me to provide an inspo pic and stated she will do make up exactly like the pic when I asked her to cater to my features as an artist, she said she can't do that. The make up also did not appear like my inspo pic.

3) I provided slight feedback after my engagement shoot, primarily how my eyes appeared in photos and she was upset.

I know she will deny but I can promise you this happened to me and I hope this will not happen to any other bride. Ultimately everything happens for a reason and I am very happy with the new artist I booked.
