I have been going to lux movie theatres in Miami and New York for years and I didn’t know what to expect being new to plant city, but this far exceeded our expectations. It’s wheelchair, stroller, mom, grandma approved! It’s got beautiful wood floors and starts high making it easy for anyone to sit and enjoy the theatre! The screen was big, the seats were cozy, the theatre was clean and modern - I loved it!

My family and I really enjoy going to this theatre. The staff is kind, the theatre is not too big and the popcorn and drinks are unlimited! Can’t beat it especially for a family of 3 boys. The prices are very competitive compared with other movie theatres in the are as well.

Comfortable seats that recline. Plenty of people working but the women's bathroom was terribly dirty and had paper towels overflowing onto the floor from the trash not being emptied and I'm not talking one or two, a bunch of them. Under the seats in the theater we're also pretty dirty. Would be a great cinema if the cleaning standards were better.

The Lux 8 is a great theater, With all the food and drink options you would ever need it is a great choice for movie night. The staff & management is kind & attentive.
The Lux 8 also houses, City Point Church, services every Sunday 10 a.m. in Theater 8.
It is not conventional, but it is a beautiful display of finding ways to serve the community.

I was extremely surprised by the changes in this theater!! Beautifully renovated to include reclining seats each with a table for food and drinks. It was so refreshing to be greeted by the very professional and helpful staff as I haven't been to see a movie in years. I was lost trying to figure out how it all worked now and I received all the help I needed to get quickly through the line and in our seats in plenty of time. We saw the new Venom the last dance movie. It was a great movie and we had a great time!! I would like to especially thank Martin for his help with the website prior to our visit. He was extremely happy to help me set up my account. Thank you to everyone who helped me get out of the house and have a very enjoyable experience!! We will definitely be back!! ❤️

Thanks to Premiere Cinema in Plant City for hosting the Christmas in July movie nights to benefit the No More Umbrella Foundation. It was fun to bring a Christmas toy for a child, as well. We had a great time, great snacks, and delicious wings watching two clean and charming Christmas movies. Marcus and his team do a great job of welcoming and caring for customers - all the time. Watch local!!

Absolutely love this movie theater. The ticket prices are good, the staff is always super nice, and it’s right here in good ole PC! I just wish it was cleaner around the concession area. The drink area is very sticky, and the popcorn area has popcorn all over the floor. I think the worst part is the luxury loungers, though. The last few times we’ve seen a movie, the loungers were broken. The feet go up, but some not all the way, and others the feet go off to the left or right, which makes a terrible “lounging” experience for your back. Being comfortable is a huge part of the movie experience these days, and unfortunately, Plant City PREMIERE LUX just isn’t comfy.
