I've been doing art and craft shows for 17 years. Promoters can't "guarantee" customers will attend their events, but it's really important for them to advertise as much as they can, in order to let customers know (and remind them) about the events. I feel that American Craft Endeavors utilizes many outlets to find ways to "get the word out" for our shows. There are so many people to thank behind the scenes, as well as those who help run the shows, the weekend it happens. Putting on an event is a lot of work, and I'm so grateful to be part of the cast and crew, as the vendors are so much fun as well. And the customers...well, their just the icing on the cake!!!! Thank you for everything you do to make our shows successful!!

The West Palm Beach Art Show this past weekend was the best art show I’ve ever showed at. Huge crowds and they were buying! Thanks to Howard Alan crew as always top notch and The Tent Guys for great set-up!! Looking forward to Delray Art Festival in December 7&8.

Avoid them at all costs if you're a vendor. You will only lose your money and time. They even kicked out a vendor who complained about slow traffic and was offering deals just to cover their fees. READ THEIR REVIEWS ON YELP – 2.2 STARS.

*"I did their show for two years in a row in Keystone. The first year was OK, and the sales were OK, but there were many artists complaining about the show promoters. Mostly, they did not jury anything and simply took the money (too many jewelers and photographers).

The second summer, I saw their true colors. They treated me and a number of artists terribly! I was personally in tears at one point, and they screamed and yelled at another artist across from me for something that was their own fault. Every artist I spoke to will NEVER do a Howard Alan event again. They don’t care about the artists – no advertising, horrible treatment, lack of communication. All they want is your money."*

In March of 2023 I applied to 4 Art Shows with Howard Alan Events in Florida . I was so pleasantly surprised with the amount of professionalism from the team . Every single one of them have been extremely helpful and generous with their time, not to mention the sheer amount of people they draw to EVERY SINGLE ONE of their shows. Fast forward a year later , I am coming to the end of the season for art festivals with Howard Alan events here in Florida. We must’ve done a dozen shows, and every single one of them was very successful for us. Not only do they bring the people, but they bring the right people.

Howard Alan embraces shady business practices. They keep applications open until a few days before an event - giving the impression there's still open space available. All five - as in within minutes or the next business morning - either denied (2) or waitlisted (3). Clearly not going before a jury. I called them and emailed them repeatedly to review their rules for displays - seeing as tho I've been accepted into some of of the country "Top 200" art fairs from Sunshine Artist Magazine - clearly there isn't an issue with my work or display. Elaine is their art director and she has this very outdated and rigid view of how jewelry should be display. All photography is supposed to be on this odd dated 80s vibe background of black and gray. Sadly the only thing this accomplishes is making all the jewelry displayed look like it's from the same artist. Any originality or color such as being inspired by Gucci or Chanel's floral displays as I've done are met with insults that your display is too crafty. I tried repeatedly to work with them and contrary to what they advertise - they are not "artist friendly". It's odd because art is about originality and not conformity. I won't be applying to any more - I've found several other more reputable art fairs to work with instead.

I have done multiple Howard Alan Events art festivals and they put on great events that are run very smoothly for the artists and their promotion for the events is outstanding, they always bring in a crowd of savy art buyers and collectors. Thank you for putting the artists first!
