Dr. Cao treated my very severe case of Bell's Palsy. During the first 3 months of my Bell's Palsy, before I started seeing her, I had very little improvement (see photos below). My doctor's office recommended her and I had significant improvement after the first session! And then additional improvement after 2nd session. My case was bad, my right eye would not close completely and it couldn't blink at all. I'm also pretty old and did not get treatment right away. All of those meant it would take longer to treat. After seeing her for 3 months I am so much better I can't believe it. It's life changing! My eye now closes completely and it partially blinks. My smile is almost back to normal. I am so thankful that she was able to treat me with electro-acupuncture and Chinese herbs. If I hadn't gone to her I would probably be in that 1/3 group of Bells Palsy people who do not recover. Her treatments made all the difference! I'm not sure I can add captions to photos so here is what they represent: first photo is how my mouth looked smiling the first week I had Bell's Palsy. Next is a photo 3 months later which shows that there was only a very small amount of improvement in my mouth. FYI, my eye had almost no improvement in that first 3 months. The third photo, which was just a day later, was after my first session with Dr. Cao. It's an amazing improvement and all in one day! The last photo is the next day after my 2nd session with Dr. Cao. Again, improvement in just one day! Over the next three months the improvement were more incremental, but each week I could see improvements and thankfully my eye is so much better! FYI, during the Bells Palsy treatment she also treated me for some hip and toe pain and that was great and very effective. Just remember the difference between the 2nd and 3rd photo is just ONE acupuncture session! If one session can make that big of a change in something as severe as facial paralysis I'm sure it can make those big changes in other issues.

Dr Lan Cao literally cured my moderate/severe sciatica with Accupuncture. It took about 10-12 sessions. I developed the sciatica by riding the Peleton exercise bike almost everyday, eventually I tried to play through the pain when it developed but it got worse and really started to have negative effects on too many things. Enter Dr Lan. She told me AP would take some time but she could fix it. I went twice a week for about 50 minutes and about 6 weeks later I was 100% recovered. I completely recommend Dr Lan. She cares about her patients so much.

Dr. Cao is a very skilled, knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate physician. She listens attentively and treats her patients as partners in the healing process. She thoroughly explains all procedures/supplements and why they're necessary. She is very receptive to feedback and always willing to adjust the herbs or acupuncture if they didn't provide the desired effect at first. She treats virtually every condition you can think of, including, but not limited to, infertility, depression, Long COVID and of course all kinds of pain. She has decades of experience working as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the hospital and in her private practice. She's also a professor at the East West College. My wife and I have been treated by Dr Cao for quite a while with many forms of Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, massage (tweeny?), Cupping, and real Chinese herbs. We have lower back issues, mine is muscular due to working in construction, and my wife's is muscular but she also has a broken lower disc. Neither of us use any type of drug/painkiller, but we occasionally take one ibuprofen, but otherwise we've used TCM. I've had carpal tunnel and tennis elbow both totally relieved with acupuncture. My wife has had some women problems that have been taken care of myi herbs. I also have a hernia in my groin area that has been taken care of with acupuncture and herbs. Neither us have ever seen a surgeon or Western medicine doctor for anything. We so appreciate her attention to us, listening to us, and doing the best thing for us to get back to life as quickly as possible! However, we do realize that these kind of treatments can take a little while to totally be back to "normal", it is not for a quick fix, or something that covers up the pain. We both highly recommend her, and have for years. Many people we know, including my wife's parents, have also had great success with her.

Dr Zhao helped me with chronic low back pain I have been suffering with for nearly 1 year. I began with pain level 9/10 and after 9 treatments am at 1/10! Initially I had great difficulty sleeping nights with hip and leg pain on both sides, L more than R. Treatment began in January with 70 needles and 2 tens machines, 30-40 min sessions approx 2 /week. Today I return north and am able to sleep a full night and walk pain free.
Dr Z has a remarkable education and years of experience in Chinese medicine, coupled with accupuncture. She is well know and respected in the Sarasota area. She is kind and respectful and a charming woman. I highly recommend Dr Z to anyone seeking pain relief without pharmaceuticals or surgery.

In mid-October, 2019, I fell and fractured the humerus bone of my left arm and a chiropractor and orthopedic doctor said the fracture would heal in time. The pain was excruciating and left arm was badly bruised and swollen. I have been having treatments with Dr. Cao at least twice a week for two months and now the pain level has gone from about a 9 to 2. The swelling has gone down and the bruising is much improved.
