I had a truly delightful visit to Lan Su Garden. The garden itself is stunning, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They even offer guided tours that provide fascinating insights into the garden’s history and design. The tea house is an absolute must-visit, offering a serene atmosphere and a wonderful selection of teas and foods to complement the experience! Highly recommended!!

This garden is absolutely beautiful. It has a tranquil, serene environment that is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It's funny because you wouldn't expect this place to be so quiet and calm based on its location, but it really is. I love to just sit and watch the fish swim by. There's some really beautiful architecture, bonsai trees and flowers here. It's a must visit for sure

I came on a Monday morning to take a tour of the gardens, and I am so glad I did. Admission was a reasonable price. Everything is very well maintained and flows quite nicely from one area to another. It is very peaceful throughout and you can not really tell that it is smack in the middle of NW Portland. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

A beautiful secret garden in the hustle and bustle of the city.

The space feels so inviting and I truly recommend it if you need some recentering from all the chaos. You can see how much care goes into keeping the garden as lovely as it is.

Kitty corner to the entrance there is a tea room. Outside and inside seating, also some extra seating upstairs. We got a little pot of tea and they advised we could steep it a few times (varies per tea) it was delicious! We didn't get any food but they have some.

Everyone we interacted with was helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. They also offer lots of events and I have a feeling I'll be back for some of them ?

Heads up for newbies, lots of close parking. When you enter there is a gate that the person at the ticket office will buzz you in. We barely had to wait once arriving at the gate. Also they had a map of other places to check out in Old Town. I highly recommend taking a peek at that!

It's like the saying people use: "a hole in the wall." Upon entering, it's like stepping into a block of greenery in the middle of Chinatown. As you get closer, the space just expands before your eyes. The day I visited was during their New Year celebration, and it was so much fun! They had vendors everywhere, and my favorite store 'Goodies' were around.

The garden itself was beautiful—truly the best place to come and relax. The energy was very positive, and it felt like a place where you could close your eyes, meditate, and just listen to the sound of the water. There were fish in the pond and beautiful flowers everywhere.

It was an authentic experience of a Chinese garden! They offer a student discount, which is a great deal. Photography is allowed, and they even let you host events before and after hours. I loved every part of it and would definitely go again.
