Can’t beat this course for the price right now. If you played here a year or more ago, the course was rough. Rock hard fairways, bare spots on the greens, etc.

They must have put a lot of effort in here. The greens are in great shape. No bare spots in the fairways anymore. A couple sandy spots outside the first cut, and the rough is inconsistent, but I don’t think it’s possible to find a better course for around $30 in FL. Carts are no frills, but no problems either.

The range is fine. Balls are past their prime, so you can’t gauge distance compared to what your course ball flies, but good enough for practicing hitting it straight for me.

Nice course. They've done a lot of improvements and it looks like there are more to come. There are 3 (9) hole courses A,B,C. Greens are in good shape. Nice views with lots wildlife and they have a nice driving range as well.

I played here on the Alligator and Bobcat courses for the first time today. The fairways are narrow and fast, the greens offered a surprising challenge with quick breaks. There are few bunkers to worry about as well. The overall condition of the course could have been better but considering how dry it has been, it’s understandable. The price for 18 holes with a cart is very reasonable and it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday afternoon. I enjoyed playing here and will be back. Booking a tee time online was quick and easy too.

I’ve been here a couple times with my husband as I’m just learning to play.
I like the driving range, I feel comfortable playing here BUT as a woman, I’d be remiss to not mention this course just isn’t female friendly. The clubhouse has the only bathroom so you have to interrupt EVERYONE to get to the bathroom then back to the hole. I’m happy for all the men that get to step to the tree line, pee, then get right back in the game - they ALL do it - but it’s just not that easy for women.

Course was somewhat shaggy had fairways which were decent but if missed all deep grass. Almost all the greens were in good shape. Layout was good, like the fact they have 27 holes. Would play again, and it was a good deal for the money.

The course was 22 dollars for 9 holes which is a bit much for SanLan but I will say it was in the best shape I have ever seen. However the pro shop attended leaves a lot to be desired he is the least friendly person ever. Almost hate going to the course because of him.

The only way to know if Sanlan range is open or not is to show up and be disappointed everytime - arrived at 630

We were down visiting and did not bring our clubs. The staff was amazing. They had sets for us to use. Left handed clubs are sometimes hard to find. We utilized the driving range and only golfed 9 holes. We are not seasoned golfers so I was concerned that we could possibly hold up players behind us. Everyone was so gracious and patient. We played course A and found that many people were there as first timers. So course A was a hit for us less experienced golfers.
